Hi, I’m Gail.

I found this funny/weird questionnaire online, and hopefully I’ll come out alive after answering this. Also: you’ll know more things about me. :D

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I’ll probably be 16. I have a mind and a body of a teenager, I don’t even plan out my future yet. I just try to be happy each and every day.

Which is worse, failing or never trying?

Never trying. Honestly, I’m still scared to take risks, to get out of my comfort zone..

If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

Sometimes we are left with no choice but to do things against our will, especially when we’re the type of person who think of others before ourselves.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Probably yes. LOL

What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

The greatest irony of this age: our communication lines are so open now yet we’re still badly disconnected. I would want people to take a step back at all these advancements we’re enjoying and realize the importance of basic values in life.

If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?

Designing and eating, of course!

Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

The ‘doing what you believe in’ phase will have to wait for the meantime.

If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?

The first 20 will be my time with my family, the other twenty years of my life will be spent traveling and meeting new people and falling in love in between chronicles will be a bonus.

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?

I seize every opportunity right now to apply for scholarships and to collaborate with people around the globe in whatever way that I can.

Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

Doing things right. At the first place, I wouldn’t grab it if I think it isn’t right.

You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?

I’ll try to be rational by listening to them first and then if they make a point, I would respect whatever their opinion is. BUT I’ll never say bad things against my friend’s back. That’s what I always do.

If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

Don’t be such a crybaby. LOL

Would you break the law to save a loved one?

Yes.

Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?

Yes, a lot of times already!

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

Design according to my client’s taste. I’m not really that type of artist who insist on my personal style that much ‘coz it’s just a waste of time to argue. Haha.

How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?

You can never please everyone, as they say.

What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?

Work abroad. I’m scared that I won’t find a job as awesome as my present one.

Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

My inner fears in life.

If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

Chiang Mai in Thailand! The first time I went there, I felt like there’s already a connection between us, something like I was Thai in my first life. Haha. No really, It’s so easy getting about everywhere. Bangkok is okay too, but life there is fast-paced.

Seoul, South Korea is another option. I would love to live there and make my own Korean drama. Minus the dying part, though.

Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

Haha yes!

Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?

A joyful simpleton, as always :D

Why are you, you?

I don’t like arguing too much, so whatever makes everyone happy, I’m in.

Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?

I think yes. I’m really friendly but partially detached. Also, I value my friends too much, that’s why I can easily sense if people see our relationship as something as disposable the moment something gets fucked up.

My bestfriends are the best-est in the world for me. :D

Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?

The latter.

What are you most grateful for?

My life, my family and my friends.

Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

I’d rather lose all my old memories since most of them aren’t that cool.

Is it possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

I think so.

Has your greatest fear ever come true?

Yes. I pray that it won’t happen again.

Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?

Nope, it doesn’t matter now.

What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?

Our field trips. My love for travel manifested in such a young age. :D

At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?

December 22, 2008.

If not now, then when?

Early next year?

If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?

All other things that will sum up to what I could’ve achieved.

Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?

Yes, just recently.

Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?

‘Cause love is a battlefield? XD

Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?

Whatever makes you feel comfortable sleeping at night, I guess that’s what is good.

If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?

Nope, not in a sudden.

Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?

I’m comfy with the latter, and that’s what I’m always into most of the time.

Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?

Not really.

When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?

Last thursday.

If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?

My dad. We rarely see each other.

Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?

Nope. I think I’m attractive enough.

What is the difference between being alive and truly living?

Life is more meaningful when we live life the way it’s supposed to be.

When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?

When you’re left with reasons but you just know you have to do it.

If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?

Mistakes vary of their risks.

What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?

I’ll plant a  kiss on someone without asking his permission. :) )

When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?

Now that you asked about it, I’ll do it later.

What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?

I love to roam. The last time I traveled far was a few days ago.

In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?

Not so sure about that.

Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

It’s only recently that I made decisions all for myself. Still working on it now.
